Patapaa was bestowed with the accolade after being named the Artiste of the Year at the 2019 Central Music Awards.
Patapaa also won the Best Collaboration award with his song titled Sweet Honey which features Stonebwoy.
Apart from his personal win, Patapaa’s camp also had another winner in his manager Free Body won the Manager of the Year award.
Announcing his win on in a social media post, Patapaa expressed his gratitude to God and his fans for the votes. He indicated that the win means he and his team are working hard and going in the right direction.
