Information reaching us indicates that Honourable Gifty Ohene Kunadu has been picked up by security officers. According to our source, she was picked up from her new residence at East Airport, near Chain Homes this morning at around 5am.
Hon. Gifty Ohene Kunadu was the Personal Assistant to Former President J.A. Kufuor and also the member of Parliament for Asante Akim South, in the Ashanti Region during Kuffuor’s time.
Currently she is the National Coordinator responsible for the NPP Government’s controversial One District One Factory Initiative.
It is not clear the reason for her arrest or where she is being taken to. However, we will bring you updates on this story as and when it unfolds.
