Gyan, Kwadwo benched again, Owusu youngsters named in Ghana starting line-up to face Guinea Bissau
News reports indicates that Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has bravely benched Inter Milan superstar Kwadwo Asamoah and legend Asamoah Gyan, preferring youngsters Kwabena Owusu and Samuel Owusu in his starting line up to face Guinea Bissau on Tuesday. Belgium-based strong defender will also make his first start at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations as he has been named to partner John Boye in the absence of suspended Kasim Nuhu and injured Jonathan Mensah. With injuries to several key players in the squad it was thought Gyan, a tried and tested attacker, will be used for the must-win 2019 Africa Cup of Nations clash with the Djurtus.
